I don’t collect pencils, and I avoid them unless otherwise impossible. I will say, however, that I suffer from cramps and even nerve pain when I use most pencils for long stretches while editing manuscripts and proofreading galleys for book publishers (yes, some companies like a paper trail despite awesome software that can handle all that). The Sensa, however, takes some getting used to in the looks department, but in my 6-8-10-hour shifts that require fine pencilled lettering sometimes between closely set lines of type, this pencil stays comfortable and gives me none of the problems that every other disposable or mechanical pencil does. That gel sleeve is just plain magical in adjusting to your grip. It also does a good job with the fine, brittle red leads I need to use—the same leads that jam other pencils’ mechanisms.
